V.0.8 Released
I must say, this update was long overdue—and absolutely worth it. The playtest didn’t just highlight some mistakes in the campaign mechanics; it pushed me to repair them, fill in critical lore gaps, and fully apply the lessons I learned while creating the new Shadesight PDF layout.
What began as a patch became a total rebuild—from the ground up. The new PDF now features:
- A functional sidebar for quicker navigation
- A cleaner, more cohesive layout
- A fresh class illustration that feels truly in-universe (no more card-style visuals—just full black-and-white art that matches the book’s tone)
We’re now sitting at 23 pages and getting very close to a version 1.0 release in terms of layout, lore, and mechanics. Still, I’ll keep pushing forward with campaign development to root out any lingering issues.
Over time, I’ll also expand the resources and campaign starter materials, making it easier than ever to jump in with minimal prep—and giving you all the extended reskins you need to craft something unique.
All that said—I truly need your feedback and reviews. Your thoughts would mean the world to me. I’ve been feeling a bit like a one-person dev studio lately, and knowing someone’s on the other side makes a big difference.
As always… Enjoy!
